Nevena obtained her master’s degree in Democracy and Human Rights though an interdisciplinary study program jointly conducted by the University of Sarajevo and the University of Bologna and also holds a master’s degree in Nationalism from the Central European University in Budapest. She completed her bachelor studies of Journalism at the University of East Sarajevo, and has worked as a journalist and as a researcher within the project “Mapping camps and detention places 1992-1995.” She is currently working as a project assistant at the International Organization for Migration on a program of Reparations and legal protection for survivors of sexual violence. She is a longtime collaborator at Post Conflict Research Center Sarajevo in capacity of researcher and journalist and has contributed to youth and peach building programs during her six-year engagement.
