WARM Foundation, in partnership with The Post-Conflict Research Center (PCRC), is proud to open a call for participants for the first WARM Academy, taking place in Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina) from 8 to 13 July 2019.
WARM Academy is an educational, multimedia program taking place in Sarajevo within the WARM Festival on contemporary conflicts. The academy is a space for young people from different backgrounds to come together and play an active role in learning, discussing and promoting different themes arising from the WARM Festival’s public events. Topics such as contemporary art, the role of media in conflict reporting, human rights and transitional justice, and memory and remembrance will be subject of discussions. Events and workshops throughout the week-long experience will allow young people will work alongside experts, academics, and practitioners. Academy is an interactive forum with people working in different fields related to contemporary conflicts around the globe.
The Academy is a space open to anyone with an interest in the study and practice of conflict resolution, peacebuilding, human rights, transitional justice and other relevant areas.
